Schiller (Mariental)
Peter Schüller, a farmer, his wife Maria, and children (Johannes, age 18; Maria, age 13; Peter, age 8; Heinrich, age 1) settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental on 15 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 77.
At some point, they relocated to the colony of Schönchen, because in 1788, Peter Schuler and his family are recorded moving from Schönchen back to Mariental.
The 1767 census records that Peter Schüller came from the German village of Trarbach in the Kurpfalz region.
