Schimpf (Kraft)*
Conrad Schimpff from Niederweissel & Juliana Clös from Büdesheim were married on 13 June 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Konrad Schinf [sic], a farmer, and his wife Julianna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.
The 1767 census records that Konrad Schinf [sic] came from the German village of Podosin in the region of Hohensolms.
Konrad Schimper [sic] and his wife Anna Juliana Kleis are recorded on the 1798 census of Kraft in Household No. Kf33.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
