There is a Peter Schipper who arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the ship Der Junge Heinrich under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.

Where this Peter Schipper is recorded on the 1767 census is unknown at this time.

There is a Schipper family on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka094. Aboard the ship Der Junge Heinrich, there were a number of families that settled in Katharinenstadt.

There are no known surviving members of this Peter Schipper family among the Volga German colonies.
