Schlager (Brabander-1)
Balthasar Schlager and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Adler under the Skipper Paul Adam Drath.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 19 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Balthasar Schlager was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a tailor (Schneider).
The 1767 census records that Balthasar Schlager came from the German village of Foudenbach [Woudenberg?] in the province of Utrecht [in the Netherlands].
