Schlarf*
Philipp Jakob Schlarf arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Hans Karholm along with the family of Philipp Peter Fey.
It is believed that Philipp Jakob (age 11) should be recorded as a Schlarf, and that he and his sisters who arrived in Oranienbaum with Jakob Fey were Jakob's stepchildren. They are recorded on the 1767 census in a list of Beauregard recruits (No. 22).
The 1798 census of Zürich records Philipp Jakob Schlarf and his family in Household No. Zr52.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
