Schmidt (Brabander-3)
[Johannes] Adam Schmidt, a tailor (Schneider), and his wife Maria Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Die Neue Freiheit von Bremen under the command of Skipper Steingrawer.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 13 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Adam Schmidt came from the German village of Indling [?] in the Würzburg region.
