Schmidt (Dönhof)
Johann Schmidt, a farmer, and his wife Eva Maria arrived 13 September 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Citadel under the command of Midshipman Grigory Bukharin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dönhof on 18 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 104.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Schmidt came from the German region of Pfalz.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Schmidt came from the German region of Darmstadt.
