Schmidt (Krasnoyar-1)
Christian Schmidt, a single farmer, and his brother Nikolaus arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 78.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Christian Schmidt came from the German region of Darmstadt.
