Johann Paul Schneider, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Galka on 27 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 60.
The 1767 census records that Johann Paul Schneider came from the German village of Gikinberg [?].
