Schneider (Rosenheim-1)*
Lorenz Schneider, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Johann, age 21; Anna, age 18; Andreas, age 15) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.
Their surviving children settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 27 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 69.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that this Schneider family came from the German region of Hanau.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Schneider family among the Volga German colonies.
