Schneider (Yagodnaya Polyana-1)*
Johann Heinrich Schneider and his wife, Susanna, and their daughters (Katharina, age 22; Anna Maria, age 20) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
Johann Henrich Schneider, his wife Susanna, and daughters (Cathrina, age 23; Anna Maria, age 21) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Yagodnaya Polyana on 16 September 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 37.
The 1767 census records that they came from the German village of Ortenberg near Büdingen.
Widow Susanna is recorded on the 1798 census of Yagodnaya Polyana (Yp07), but there are believed to be no male descendants of this family.
