Schork (Krasnoyar)
Johann[es] Schork, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8 along with his new wife Elisabeth Henrietta.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Schork was a farmer from the German region of Erbach. The 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker) from the German village of Stolberg.
