Schott (Moor)
Peter Schott, son of Johann Heinrich & Anna Margaretha Schott, was born 27 January 1732 in Kirchbracht.
Anna Margaretha Scheller, daughter of Johann & Anna Maria Scheller, was born 22 September 1737 in Nieder-Seemen. [See Scheller Family.]
The marriage of Johann Peter Schott from Kirchbracht to Margaretha Scheller from nearby Nieder-Seemen. Kirchbracht and Nieder-Seemen are northeast of Büdingen.
Peter Schott, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat under the command of Midshipman Mankensey.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Moor on 18 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 44.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Schott came from the German region of Isenburg.
