Schröder (Krasnoyar)
Nikolaus Schröder, a farmer, his wife Julianna, and children (Anna, age 24?; Margaretha, age 6; Konrad, age 3; Johann, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar where Julianna is recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 25 as the wife of Christian Rau. Son Johann Konrad Schröder (age 5) is also recorded there.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Nikolaus Schröder came from the German village of Gelnhausen.
The burial register of Krasnoyar records the death of Johann Konrad Schröder in 1834 at the age of 72 with a note that he had been born in Gelnhausen.
