Schröder (Warenburg)
Johann Schröder, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 48.
In 1797, Heinrich Martin Schröder moved from Warenburg to Straub.
Martin Schröder and his stepsons (Georg Heinrich Lingler, age 6; Johann Philipp Lingler, age 5) are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 22 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Neu-Straub [year not recorded].
Martin Schröder and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Neu-Straub in Household No. 34.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Schröder came from the German village of Seehausen. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Warburg [?] in the Brandenburg region.
