Schreiber (Brabander)
Johannes Schreiber, a farmer, his wife Marianna, and children (Maria theresia, age 18; Balthasar, age 8; Johann Fazius, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Adler under the Skipper Paul Adam Drath.
Johann Schreiber, his wife Maria Anna, and children (Maria Theresia, age 18; Balthasar, age 8; Johann, age 4, died en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johannes Schreiber, a farmer, his wife Marianna, and son Balthasar (age 8) are recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 54. They had settled there on 19 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Schreiber came from the German village of Wickenberg in Ungarn [Hungary].
