Schreiner (Norka)
Johannes Schreiner, son of Conrad and Anna Margaretha Schreiner, was born on 20 September 1715. Magdalena Gerdt, daughter of Conrad Gerdt, was born on 10 December 1717 in Hüttengesäß. Johannes and Magdalena married on 14 January 1745. Among their children, each born in Wiedermus are: (1) Johann Phillip, born 10 January 1746; (2) Johann Conrad, born 30 March 1753; and (3) Anna Christina, born 20 March 1760.
Johann[es] Schreiner, his wife Magdalena, and children (Johann Philipp, age 20; Konrad, age 15; Anna Maria, age 10; Anna Christina, age 7) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 57.
Philipp Schreiner and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 208.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johannes Schreiner was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker). Both documents record that Johannes Schreiner came from the German district of Isenburg.
