Schubert (Pfeifer)*
Johann Georg Schubert, a farmer, and his wife Anna Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 51.
Georg Schubert and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Pfeifer in Household No. Pf12.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Georg Schubert came from the German area of Franken (Franconia) and the 1767 census records that Georg Schubert came from the German region of Würzburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Schubert family among the Volga German colonies.
