Schu(h)macher (Hussenbach)
Michael Schuhmacher, a farmer, his wife, Christina, and children (Michael, age 17; Johann Jakob, age 5; Anna, age 2) arrived from Danzig at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 May 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Jacob Janson.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach. Son Michael is recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Hs027.
Schuhmacher descendants are recorded on the 1834 census of Hussenbach in Households No. 64 & 120.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Michael Schuhmacher came from the region of Danzig.
