Johann Konrad Schuhmacher, a single tailor (Schneider), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard the ship named Die Neue Fortuna (The New Fortune) under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber.
Johann Conrad Schumacher is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johann Konrad Schuhmacher (age 22), a tailor (Schneider), and his wife Kathairna (age 34) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 133. They had arrived in Warenburg on 12 May 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Konrad Schuhmacher came from the German region of Wetzlar while the 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Dawizler.
