Schuster (Keller)*

Kaspar Schuster, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heinrich Sager.

Caspar Schuster is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Kaspar Schuster, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Lauwe on 5 September 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 56 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Keller in 1768.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Kaspar Schuster came from the German region of Isenburg. The 1767 census records that Kaspar Schuster came from the German village of Goburgon [?] in the Nürnberg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
