Schwab (Hussenbach)
Karl Schwab, a farmer, his wife Christina, and children (Katharina, age 12; Charlotta, age 10; Konrad, age 8; Maria, age 6; Christina, age 4; Karl, age 2½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
Carl Schwab, his wife Christina, and children (Cathrina Elis., age 12; Charlotta Fried., age 11; Conrad Elias, age 9; Maria Henrietta, age 7; Christina Henrietta, age 4; Carl, age 3) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach. Karl's widow is recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Hs072.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Karl Schwab came from the German district of the Pflaz.
