Schwar(t)z (Hussenbach-1)
Georg Schwarz, a farmer, and his wife Marianna [Burgardt] arrived from Danzig at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 May 1766 aboard the galliot Die Hoffnung under the command of Skipper Johann Heschke.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach. The 1798 census of Hussenbach records the widow Anna Maria [sic] and son of Georg Schwarz in Household No. Hs053.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Schwarz came from the German region of Saarbrücken.
