Schwar(t)z (Norka)
Johann Traugott Schwartz married Anna Catharina Trüber on 25 February 1766 in the German village of Wolf. Anna Catharina had been there born on 21 November 1738.
Johann Traugolt Schwartz, a cooper, and his wife Anna Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.
Traugot Schwarz, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 161.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Traugot Schwartz came from the German region of Sachsen (Saxony).
