Seignitz
Johann Wolfgang Seinitz [sic], a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig Mercurius under the command of Skipper Christian Heinrich Abelßen.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 57 along with his new wife Anna Maria Schneider and her sister Anna Barbara (age 12).
The 1767 census records that Johann Wolfgang Seignitz came from the German village of Jahrstedt in the Brandenburg region.
