Seitz (Brabander)*

Konrad Seitz, his wife Anna, and daughters (Anna, age 21; Margaretha, age 19; Magdalena, age 16) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heidemann.

Konrad Seitz, his wife Maria Margaretha, and daughters (Anna Margaretha, age 19; Margaretha Magdalena, age 17) are recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 15. They had settled there on 28 August 1767.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Seitz was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a carpenter (Zimmermann). The 1767 census records that Konrad Seitz came from the German village of Lambsheim in the Kurpfalz region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Seitz family among the Volga German colonies.
