Tobias Siekart, a hunter (Jäger), and his wife Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Ober-Monjou on 23 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 30.
The 1767 census records that Tobias Siekart came from the German village of Birgel.
