Michael Sienfel, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 14 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.
The 1767 census records that Michael Sienfel came from the German village of Flinsbach in the Württemberg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
