Sittner (Enders)
Johann[es] Sittner and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat under the command of Lieutenant Pyotr Malinkov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Enders on 15 July 1767. Johannes Sittner is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 37 in Household No. 37 along with his new wife Katharina.
Heinrich Sittner from Enders and his family are recorded on the 1862 census of Gnadendorf.
Daniel Sittner from Enders and his family are recorded on the 1862 census of Gnadendorf.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Sittner was a stonemason from Isenburg. The 1767 census records that Johannes Sittner was a farmer from the German village of Büdingen in the Isenburg region.
