Johann Sokolowski, a servant (Knecht), his wife Anna Katharina, and children (Anna Regina & Johann Michael) settled in the Volga German colony of Dreispitz on 16 September 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 16.

The widow and children of Johann Michael Sokolowski are recorded on the 1798 census of Kraft in Household No. Kf57.

Friedrich Sokolowski and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Dreispitz in Household No. 61.

The 1767 census records that Johann Sokolowski came from the German village of Uschatsch in Poland.
