Sollbach
Johann Christian Sollbach, a farmer, his wife Anna, and son Johann Jakob (age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 May 1766 aboard the galliot Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Geier.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Ober-Monjou on 5 March 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5 along with orphan Elisabeth Kirchturm. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Sollbach and Kirchturm families.
The 1767 census records that Christian Sollbach came from the German village of Oppertshofen.
