Widow Margaretha Soltner and her son Johannes (age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Leitsinger in Household No. 80. They had settled there on 15 July 1767.
The 1767 census records that Margaretha Soltner came from the German village of Echenbrunn in the Bamberg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Soltner family among the Volga German colonies.
