Discussion & Documentation
Carl Sommer & Johanna Dorothea Pauli were married 2 September 1766 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.
Karl Sommer, a physician (Arzt), and his wife Anna Paulÿ are recorded on the 1767 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. 83 along Gottfried Paulÿ (age 17), Anna's brother and a note that they all relocated to the colony of Katharinenstadt in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Karl Sommer came from the Austrian town of Vienna.
