Sommer (Seelmann)
Andreas Sommer, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 26 June 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 134. A note on the 1767 census of Brabander indicates that Andreas Sommer moved to the colony of Seelmann in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Andreas Sommer came from the German village of Milisin in Böhmen (Bohemia).
