Friedrich Sonnengrün (age 15) and his sister Christina (age 13) are recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 3 along with their stepfather Johann Lenk.

Friedrich Sonnengrün and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Paulskaya in Household No. Pl49.

The 1767 census does not record from where the Sonnengrüns came.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
