Spätter (Kind)*
Christian Spätter, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Christian Spätter and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Christian Spätter, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies.
Widow Elisabeth Spätter née Rosseler is recorded on the 1798 census of Kind in Household No. Kd13.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian Spätter came from the German region of Waldeck. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Helmighausen.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Spätter family among the Volga German colonies.
