Spätter (Leitsinger)
Johann [Adam] Spätter, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 12; Elisabeth, age 9; Jakob, age 7; Peter, age 4; Maria, age ½) arrived from Reval [Estonia] on 30 May 1766 at the port of Oranienbaum aboard the pink Lopamink under the command of Lieutenant Kryukov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Leitsinger on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.
Son Jakob is recorded on the 1798 census of Kamenka in Household No. Km062.
In 1826, Michael Spätter and his family from Kamenka relocated to Ober-Monjou. They are recorded on the 1834 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. 53.
The 1767 census records that Adam Spätter came from the German village of Elschiburg in the Kurtrier region.
