Spahr (Kind)
Andreas Spahr, a miller (Müller), his wife Maria, and children (Maria, age 13; Johann, age 9; Elisabeth, age 7; Heinrich, age 6; Friedrich, age 6; Katharina, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Andreas Spaar [sic], his wife Maria Sophia, and children (Maria Margaretha, age 14; Conrad, age 11; Joh. Heinrich, age 6; Cathar. Maria, age 3; Joh. Jacob, born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Joh. Heinrich, Cathar. Maria, and newborn Joh. Jacob died en route.
Andreas Spahr, a miller (Müller), his wife Sophia, and daughter Maria (age 14) are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits (Household No. 134) attached to the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies along with a note that they settled in the colony of Kind.
In 1774, Johann Adam Speier and his wife moved from Kind to Schaffhausen.
The 1767 census records that Andreas Spahr came from the German village of Zillbach in the Hessen region.
