Stürtz (Zürich)*
Elisabeth Stürtz (age 16), an orphan, is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou (No. 91) along with a note that she settled in the Volga German colony of Zürich in 1768.
She is believed to be recorded on the 1798 census of Dreispitz in Household No. Dr22.
The 1767 census records that Elisabeth Stürtz came from the German region of Nassau-Usingen.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Stürtz family among the Volga German colonies.
