Friedrich Stahl, a farmer, and his wife Christina settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Stahl came from the German village of Neustadt bei Heide [?].
