Stalb
Friedrich Stalp [sic], his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 9; Elisabeth, age 7; Wilhelm, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.
Friedrich Stalb [sic], his wife Anna Maria, and daughters (Anna Margareta, age 11; Anna Elisabeth, age 8) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Anna Maria died en route.
Friedrich Stalb remarried to the widow Appolonia Otto and they settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 June 1767 where they are recorded along with their combined children on the 1767 census in Household No. 28.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Stalb came from the German region of Braunfels.
