The death of colonist Gottlieb Standauer in Saratov is recorded on the 1767 census of Messer in the household of Jakob Schmall (No. 31). Jakob Schmall is recorded there as having assumed the debts of Gottlieb Standauer. There is no relationship recorded between the Schmall and Sandauer families.
