Milison Stankowicz, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 29.

Mattias Stankewitz and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Seelmann in Household No. 69.

The 1767 census records that Milison Stankowicz came from the village of Gradišče in Slovenia.
