Anton Stark, his wife Katharina, and daughter [Sus]anna (age 3½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 23 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anton Stark was a farmer from the German region of Hamburg. The 1767 census records that he was a goldsmith (Goldschmied) from the German region of Hamburg.
