Johann Heinrich Starck, son of Andreas & Anna Elisabetha Starck, was baptized 12 March 1730 in the Heilige Dreifaltigkeit (Holy Trinity) Catholic Church in Neustadt. He married on 23 November 1754 to Anna Elisabeth, daughter of Johannes & Elisabeth Kuhn. She had been baptized in the same church in Neustadt on 16 January 1723 and was the widow of Johann Georg Loskand [See Loskand Family].

The baptisms of the following children have been located for Johann Heinrich Stark and Anna Elisabeth Kuhn: (1) Johannes, baptized 3 August 1755 at Holy Trinity in Neustadt; (2) Johannes, baptized 4 August 1757 at St. Johannes der Täufer (St. John the Baptist) Catholic church in Momberg; (3) Johann Peter, baptized 15 January 1760 in Momberg; and (4) Johann Georg, baptized 9 August 1764 in Momberg. 

Johann Heinrich Stark, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Elisabeth, and children (Konrad [Loskand], age 16; Johannes, age 12; Heinrich, age 10; Peter, age 7; Georg, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Gabriel Wild.

Johann Heinrich Stark, a weaver (Weber), his wife Elisabeth, children ([a] Johannes, age 14; [b] Johann [Heinrich], age 11; [c] Johann Peter, age 8), and stepson Konrad Loskand (age 17) are recorded on the 1767 census of Schönchen in Household No. 17. They arrived in Schönchen on 17 August 1767.

The widow and younger children of Heinrich Stark are recorded on the 1798 census of Schönchen in Household No. Sn36.

The widow and children of Johannes [recorded as Johann Heinrich] Stark

[a] Johann Adam Stark, believed to be the son of Johannes Stark, is recorded on the 1798 census of Schönchen in Household No. Sn25.

[b] Son Johann Heinrich Stark and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schönchen in Household No. Sn24.

The death of Heinrich Stark in 1833 is recorded on the 1834 census of Schönchen in Household No. 40.

[c] Son Peter Stark moved from Schönchen to Katharinenstadt in 1780. He and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka152.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Stark came from the German village of Momberg.
