Discussion & Documentation

Philipp Staudaker, a weaver (Weber), his wife Ursula Mühlbacher, and children (Maria Dorothea, age 13; Maria Elisabeth, age 9; Johann Gottfried, age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Rosenheim in Household No. 8. They had arrived in Rosenheim on 27 July 1765.

The 1767 census records that Philipp Staudaker came from the German village of Hinterberg in the Herzogtum Kärnten.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
