Discussion & Documentation

Peter Stoller, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Chasselois on 2 August 1766. He married the widow Margaretha Werner. They are recorded on the 1767 census of Chasselois in Household No. 34 along with her son Johannes Werner (age 9).

Following the destruction of Chasselois, the Stoller family relocated to the colony of Louis.

The 1767 census records that Peter Stoller came from the German region of Trier.
