Stricker (Pfeifer)*
Johann Stricker, a farmer, and family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 20 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 24. Travelling with Johann Stricker and his family was Johann Adam Essler. The Oranienbaum passenger list records that he was the brother-in-law of Johann Stricker while the 1767 census records that he was Stricker's nephew.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Stricker came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that Johann Stricker came from the village of Aschaffenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Stricker family among the Volga German colonies.
