The marriage of Andreas Tiefenthaler to Christina Reincke, widow of an unnamed Riebler, is recorded in the parish register of Odense [Denmark] on 17 May 1757.
Christina Reincke, daughter of Claus Reincke, had been born 7 October 1725 in Gelting, Denmark. From a previous marriage, Christina has a son, Friedrich Riebler, who had been born about 1750.
The birth of a son Georg Jakob to Andreas & Christina Tiefenthaler is recorded in the parish register of Thorning [Denmark] on 27 September 1762.
Andreas Tiefenthaler was killed by Balthasar Barthuly and others in a brawl on 7 December 1762 in Thorning.
The Tiefenthaler family is last recorded among the Danish colonies on 26 April 1763.
The parish register of the Reformed Church of Saints Peter & Paul in Danzig records that Johann Theobald Wagner from the Pfalz & Christina Tiefenthaler from the Pfalz, widow of [Andreas] Tiefenthaler, were married on 19 May 1765 in Danzig. [See Wagner Family.]
Theobold Wagner, a farmer, his wife Christina [widow Tiefenthaler], [step-]children (Anna Elisabeth [Tiefenthaler], age 18; Friedrich [Riebler], age 17; Anna Margaretha [Tiefenthaler], age 4) are recorded on the 1767 census of Moor in Household No. 9. They had arrived in Moor on 1 July 1766.
Anna Elisabeth Moor née Tiefenthaler and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Moor in Household No. Mo26.
The Eichhorns do not record from where the Tiefenthaler family came in Germany.
There are no known surviving male lines of the Tiefenthaler family among the Volga German colonies.
