Kaspar Triller, a single farmer, and his brother Heinrich (age 8) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Households No. 79 & 80 along with a note that they settled in the colony of Basel in 1768.

Kaspar Triller and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Basel in Household No. Bs27 along with his brother Johann Heinrich and his family.

The 1767 census records that Kaspar Triller came from the German village of Eiche [?].
